Who We Are

The idea for Convicts For Christ was born at a pinochle game! Four former gang members had turned their lives around through life-changing encounters with Jesus, and as they played cards they discussed the possibility of reaching other people they had been in prison with to help them turn their lives around.

There the idea was born, and has developed into a thriving community of former inmates and drug addicts all centered around the person and work of Jesus Christ being the transformative power in a person’s life. We describe ourselves like this:

“We are a community that exists to reach people coming out of the crime, drug or prison lifestyle. Whether it is a physical  prison or a prison of your own brokenness.

We share the hope and healing of Jesus Christ as THE highest power for the transformation of a person’s life.

We gave up the daily high to serve the Most High because life really is better on this side of the fence!

Matthew 25:36

"We don’t care where you’ve been, we care where you are headed"
